My academic career in Oswego began in the Spring of 2016, as a transfer student. After two semesters at Cayuga Community College, I decided to serve in my country's Navy as a Nuclear Electronics Technician. Unfortuantely, my time was cut short after I could not complete the final phase of training. In my failure, I learned to stay humble and continue to push hard for a successful career. After leaving the Navy, I finished my Criminal Justice A.A.S. and joined the police academy. After completing the academy, I decided I wanted to pursue a career where I could make a difference in more than just my community. Today, I am a senior pursuing a Major in Information Science with a Minor in Computer Science.
