Option 1 – Make your own!

If you are unsure if you will like this hobby and do not wish to spend money at all you can make your own origami paper! All you have to do is cut out a perfect square from a sheet of regular paper. Paper without lines would be highly recommended.

This option is the cheapest. It is not hard to do, and the solution is right at your fingertips. However, it involved measuring and cutting accurately. This paper could be hard to work with for folding. Your results will have no color and may be flimsy.

Option 2 – Cheap origmai paper

Many stores will sell origami paper. You can buy a cheap version before to test if you like doing origami and find the results satisfying. Most stores that have an arts & craft section should supply this paper at a decently low price

This option is not too expensive if you want to go for it. It will save you from the measuring and cutting hassle of the first options. Also, this paper will have a colored side to make for a cooler result. Lastly, this paper will be easier to work with! However, it requires some spending and time to actually buy the paper.

Option 3 – Go all out!

There is fancy origami paper you can buy. These often are great quality paper and come with cool designs or patterns! It will bring your origami to the next level!

This option is the most expensive. However, comes with the best results! The paper quality will be firm and polished. Many individuals who love origami claim it is worth the price.
