Boseon Byeon, PhD. Assistant Professor
Interests: Dr. Byeon’s research has included various cutting-edge bioinformatics topics such as promoter recognition, nucleosome prediction, and pathway analysis. In addition, by analyzing Microarray and Next Generation Sequencing data, he has discovered disease biomarkers and explained the association of biomarkers with disease. He has done his researches of the parallel computing framework for big data analysis in bioinformatics and biomedical informatics.

Interest; The research of Dr. Xiaoliang Wang on Deep Learning for Image Segmentation of Cracks in Metal Additive Manufacturing was displayed at the I-DREAM4D Manufacturing Expo & Exhibition. His research interests include Smart and Connected Health and the Internet of Things (Cyber-Physical Systems).

Kevin E. Kurzinski, M.S.
Interests: Healthcare, Technology planning, Information Design and Technology. Kevin E. Kurzinski is a project manager in the healthcare industry. He has served in his current role for over 9 years with a nationwide healthcare provider. He has implemented a wide range of medical systems including, Epic, McKesson and Care Logistics. Prior to joining the healthcare industry he spent 7 years working with New York State school districts in the capacity of technology planning. Kevin has a Master of Science in Information Design and Technologies from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. PMP Certification, and Lean Six Sigma Black belt, issued by Syracuse University.

Renaud Seigneuric
His research interests aim at integrating different levels (including at the nanoscale for circulating biomarkers such as proteins and extracellular vesicles), cutting-edge measuring instruments (eg: NanoSight, BLI, NGS), methods and algorithms. His quantitative, translational approach is devoted to cancer detection and treatment (including Triple-negative Breast cancer or TNBC) with a focus on concrete applications for the patients (6 patents + 2 pending).
