AI will help create new types of jobs. As AI grows, more people will be required to ensure the AI derives the proper conclusions from the data it analyses. Also, as AI becomes more powerful, more workers will be needed for maintenance and to advance the AI further. While I believe these arguments are weak, they are a temporary positive to AI. With the way AI works today, workers production rates are bund to increase due to AI performing most of the mundane tasks. This ideology works when AI replaces “lower-level” jobs, but when AI begins to take jobs from more educated fields it will cause more significant problems. Many of the articles that defend AI tend to use previous technological advances as a means that everything will be fine. The technologies they compare only tend to affect one job field where little education is required. AI is rapidly reaching into every market.
